Anaplan
This page describes how to use Census to sync data from your warehouse to Anaplan.
Getting Started
In this guide, we will show you how to connect Anaplan to Census and create your first sync.
1. Locate your workspace and model ID
The Workspace ID can be found under Administration -> Workspaces within the Anaplan dashboard.

Select the Models tab under the selected workspace and click on the desired model. This action will open the model details page.

The model ID can be found on the model details page.

The Model Id needs to be the model to which you want to sync, both the Workspace ID and the Model ID should be 32 characters long
2. Configure the Anaplan Connection
Navigate to the connections tab in Census. Select Anaplan

Replace Behavior in Anaplan
When using the Replace sync behavior with Anaplan, data is not deleted as it might be in other destinations. Rows are not removed. In certain cases, individual columns within existing rows can be cleared, but this depends on how the original import action was set up in Anaplan.
Clearing applies only to Module imports, not List imports. For clearing to occur, the import action must have been created with specific options enabled when the file was first uploaded manually in Anaplan. When importing data initially into the module, the Clear target prior to import option must be set in the import mapping, and the settings for both the underlying list and the module’s line items must specify that All Items should be cleared prior to import.
If these configurations were in place, a Replace sync will clear column values for records not included in the source data. If they were not set, no column clearing will happen during the Replace sync.
